Will Tony Stark’s time travel rule in the Avengers Endgame last? With Conqueror Kang’s imminent arrival, we have big doubts!
If recent reports by Shuri reveal that Tony Stark may have known about the Multiverse before Avengers: Endgame, teach us above all that there have always been different ways of traveling between realities. In Iron Man’s Möbius Band Method, it is possible to change some events from the past without interrupting the main timeline. This is particularly what happened to Captain America: he had to create a new parallel timeline, trying to add a new element – himself – to the story. Thus, he was able to live his peaceful retirement alongside Peggy without compromising the course of events. If the Stark Method were used by the other MCU protagonists, the different planets would not be in danger.
The problem is that with the arrival of Kang, the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3 and the introduction of the multiverse in Doctor Strange 2, there will not only be good temporal physicists at the table ! Naturally, the rules of time travel are bound to change, as the MCU’s Phase 4 antagonists will be there to mess things up. The remaining members of the Avengers will have to face real time benders, and without the help of the Supreme Sorcerer, Shuri and why not the Scarlet Witch, they will have great difficulty in stopping them. Before you know what sauce they’ll eat, find out what the rumor Marvel Studios just confirmed on Black Widow.
