1.8 billion euros were invested in the development of electronic commerce.
This investment also includes bridges between the chain of stores and online activity. Another 106 countries are added to the network, bringing the number of markets in which ZARA is present online.
Inditex, the mother of the brand, has the ambition to sell all its brands in this network (PULL & BEAR, BERSHKA, MASSIMO DUTTI, OYSHO, UTERQUE, etc.).
These 106 countries are mostly in new markets: in Africa (Angola, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, etc.) and also in the Caribbean and in Indonesia. The two languages used will be English and French. The orders, prepared in Spain, will be sent between 3 and 7 days!
It should be noted, however, that in countries where ZARA has a commercial website (49 today), orders will be delivered to customers from stores stock in the countries in question. This Ship from Store will allow an even faster delivery service.
In 2017, the parent company Inditex generated revenues of 25.34 billion euros and 12% of this turnover was made via e-commerce.
INDITEX IND DE DESO is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange. The share price was € 26.30 this November 7. It fell -12.18% in the last year, maintaining a positive trend of + 12.44% in 5 years.
