Côte d'Ivoire: AfricInvest invests € 12.2 million in Road Centauri

Private equity firm AfricInvest has invested 12.2 million euros in one of the main logistics and local transport centers in Côte d'Ivoire, Les Centaures Routiers (LCR). The investment will enable LCR to strengthen its fleet of trucks, currently with more than 400 vehicles, to create a new site to consolidate all its transportation and logistics activities and increase the company's working capital, according to a statement from AfricaInvest.

Founded in August 1953 by Jean-Jacques Delsuc, LCR provides road transport for a wide range of products such as hydrocarbons, palm oil, beverages and sugar. It also offers basic logistics services such as storage, handling and space leasing, the company has warehouses of 2000 m2 in Abidjan and locations in various cities of the country (San Pedro, Bouaké, Bouaflé, Yamoussoukro). Its clients in agribusiness are PalmCi, SOCB, Cargill, Olam, Sarci, Sifca, but also Solibra, etc.
