EgyptAir took over its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner,
while Mauritania Airlines received its first Embraer 175.
First of six
aircraft owned by AerCap by the Egyptian airline 787-9
configured to accommodate 30 passengers in business class and 279 in the economy
landed on March 28, 2019 at Cairo airport. EgyptAir, member of Star
Alliance, detailed its fleet plans for 2019 at the end of last year
: Dreamliner to be deployed this week in Kuwait, then
to Dubai and Frankfurt in May, in June to Damman and his new destination
Washington (first long-haul road); and from 1 July to
Paris-CDG (in rotation MS799 / 800 according to Airlineroute), Bangkok, Hong Kong,
Beijing and Tokyo. The Dreamliner would fly to Madrid on August 1
and to Toronto-Pearson on October 1.
also receive from July the twelve Airbus A220-300 ordered in
November 2017 (when it's still called the Bombardier CS300)
