«Luxor Cinema of Africa» signs protocol for the training of cinema youngsters in Côte d'Ivoire

Azza Husseini, director of the Luxor African Film Festival, signed a cooperation, partnership and training agreement with the Vistilag Festival and presided over the jury of the 7th FESTILAG Festival, presided over by the Ivorian artist Naki Si Savannah.

The festival includes 30 films between the long and short, the documentary and the novelist, the films have been in the participation of 13 different countries of Africa and beyond.

As part of the festival, Erdiuma Soma, director of the Vispaku Festival in Burkina Faso, was honored.

Al-Husseini explained that the agreement between Luxor and Vestiglag includes cooperation and workshop work to train young Ivorians in writing, directing and acting by Egyptian filmmakers next year in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Foreign Affairs and the Union of Cinematographers in Egypt. Egypt for the African Union began in February 2019.

Egypt's ambassador to Ivory Coast, Mohamed Farouq El Hamzawy, also hosted the festival's guests, whose film "Destiny" was directed by Youssef Chahine and produced by Egypt International Company at the end of Festiglage events.

The ambassador was honored by the winners, dignitaries and delegations from Burkina Faso, Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt and the Ivorian participants.
