Updated NVIDIA Turing "Super" video cards get recommended prices.

According to unofficial information, NVIDIA may feature an upgraded family of Turing architecture video cards, which will receive faster memory, the "Super" suffix in the model designation and, most importantly, a more attractive combination of price and performance. As a general rule, in each price niche, the Super series graphics processor will be borrowed from the old video card of the previous family, and the number of active CUDA cores will be increased, directly affecting the performance level.

The feature of WCCFTech on the eve of the first announced announcement phase announces the pricing of three new line graphics solutions that will be offered in parallel with the "Turing First Wave" video cards. The GeForce RTX 2080 Super will cost $ 799, which will force the "normal" GeForce RTX 2080 to lose value through peaceful coexistence. The GeForce RTX 2070 Super will also receive a price identical to the cost of the GeForce RTX 2070 at the time of the announcement – $ 599. Finally, the GeForce RTX 2060 Super will not follow this pricing algorithm, the video card costs $ 429, while the "normal" GeForce RTX 2060 costs $ 349 at the time of its debut. However, in the latter case, the price increase is compensated not only by the appearance of 2176 CUDA cores instead of the previous 1920s, but also by the increase of GDDR6 memory from 6 to 8 GB.

  • GeForce RTX 2070: 2304 CUDA cores, TU106-410 graphics processor and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 14 GHz;
  • Geforce RTX 2060 Super: 2176 cores CUDA graphics processor TU106-410 and 8 GB of memory GDDR6 with a frequency of 14 GHz;
  • Core GeForce RTX 2060: 1920 CUDA, TU106-200 graphics processor and 8 GB GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 14 GHz.

The list above shows how the range of NVIDIA graphics cards with the Turing architecture will change after the release of updated graphics solutions. The prices of existing products of this family will be reduced. New family members for sale will appear in the second half of July. Reforms will not touch the iconic GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, "hovers over agitation on another level," and the release of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 family of video cards does not threaten their well-being. The only thing that can be mentioned in this context is that the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will share with the GeForce RTX 2080 Super a graphics processor, which will be marked as "TU104-450" for masking purposes.
