SEVASTOPOL, November 19. / Tass. Experts from the Department of Health of Sevastopol and Rospotrebnadzor carry out anti-epidemic measures at school, where one of the children has measles. In particular, they will hold a meeting for parents who refuse to involve children, the government press service said on Monday.
"Two cases of measles were registered in Nakhimov district [по данным правительства – женщина и ее ребенок-школьник]. Today we are holding a school meeting together with the Consumer Protection Agency for preventive work with parents who refuse to take preventive measures in the form of vaccination, "said the message from the head of the health department, Mikhail Malishevsky.
It is made clear that the classes in the classroom where the student was sick were canceled, but in general, the quarantine school is not closed. It was established that measles cases were detected last week. The patients have returned from a trip to the territory of Western Ukraine and Poland, where there is now an outbreak of the disease, and none of them have been vaccinated, although vaccination is the only way to prevent measles.
It should be noted that now the experts are carrying out anti-epidemic measures. In particular, two brigades for preventive vaccination of adults and three for children are created in the Nakhimov district of the city, they work in polyclinics and educational institutions, and home visits are organized with the vaccination proposal. The vaccine in the city is available in the required amount, in Russia for the measles vaccines are used medicines of national companies "Microgen" and "Vector".
