AMD Navi to be released in the third quarter, will be cheaper Radeon VII

As explained by Lisa Su, preparation for the 7nm product announcement is in full compliance with the schedule previously scheduled. In the discrete graphics segment, the Navi architecture operators' debut is slated for the second half of the year, to be more precise, for the third quarter of this year. The first family products will be aimed at players.

The situation with video card inventory, which ended up being redundant after a decline in interest in cryptomeda production last year, improved in the first quarter. AMD expects that in the second quarter, the video card retail segment will show growth in sales and revenues, and the launch of Navi in ​​the third quarter will only strengthen this trend.

For AMD, Navi is new, optimized for gaming. He promised many innovations at the architectural level.
