LG Q9 receives a presentation image, showing a different design from the prototype demonstrated in September

LG is preparing a new smartphone for budget-conscious buyers, taking on at least some of the features of the premium range.

The first news about the LG Q9 described a smartphone without a cropped screen at the top, expectations being reinforced with the image of a supposed prototype of the new device. The LG Q9 comes with an 18: 9 FHD + screen, devoid of the "rumble" so criticized in other smartphone products of the latest generation.

Meanwhile, the situation seems to have changed, the first press image attributed to the LG Q9, describing a device similar to the G7 Fit series, including the screen at the top. Leaving aside the aesthetic aspect, the LG Q9 promises a respectable level of performance with a midrange range from Qualcomm – the Snapdragon 660, the octa-core processor. The configuration is aided by 4GB of RAM and, depending on the available budget, buyers will have the option to choose between 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space. The feature list comes complete with a 3550 mAh battery, which should offer at least one day of worry-free use.

It is unlikely that LG will launch the new product with an OS version above the Android 8.1 Oreo, but we can not wait for a smartphone for less than $ 400. Certainly, the LG Q9 will eventually be updated in the edition Android 9.0.
