During the day 30.10.2018 D.S.P. Bihor received from the Ministry of Health the fourth installment of the influenza vaccine, valued at 4,420 doses, and an additional 4400 doses for distribution to family doctors.

From today, 30.10.2018 until Friday, 2.11.2018, between 8.00-14.00, the family doctors of the County of Bihor are expected in D.S.P. To receive the doses of vaccine assigned, each office receives, on average, 26 doses of influenza vaccine for free vaccination of people at risk.

On October 18, 2018, DSP Bihor announced that it received 7,500 doses, the total number reaching 10,000. Intensity, the number of doctors of the flu vaccine is very small compared to the number of people who should be vaccinated in the county of Bihor

Doses received free of charge from the Ministry of Health are intended for population groups considered at risk and for which the World Health Organization recommends vaccination against influenza. These population groups are as follows:

  1. Individuals aged 6 months to 64 years with evidence of chronic lung disease, cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, hepatic, neurological, diabetes, obesity, asthma or human immunodeficiency virus,
  2. pregnant
  3. Physicians, health professionals and auxiliaries, both in hospitals and in outpatient health facilities, including staff from care institutions (children or elderly) and units of chronic diseases, which by their nature come into respiratory contact with patients or caregivers,
  4. Persons, adults or children residing in welfare institutions, as well as persons providing health care, social work and high-risk home-based care,
  5. People 65 and older.
