The televisions

Samsung organized an event in Bucharest to launch the QLED range in 2019. They chose Mare / The Recent Art Museum.

It is 50 years since the first TV of the South Korean company and to better show where they started and where they came from, they put the first TV in front of an 8K of the current generation. Samsung is a leader in the Romanian TV market, but also globally for 13 years.

Other Stories in Samsung's Story:

  • 1998 – the first digital TV;
  • 2008 – the first TV with LED technology;
  • 2013 – the first TV curve;
  • 2016 – the first 10-bit Quantum Dot panel.

The QLED 2019 has more than 20 models, from 43 to 98 inches, with 4K and 8K resolution. They are already on the second generation of TVs with 8K resolution, while the competition is only the first generation.

There are some functions they want to highlight:

  • Ultra Viewing Angle – clear, black and wide viewing images;
  • Playing 100% of color volume, regardless of ambient light (natural or artificial, direct or indirect);
  • amount – an artificial intelligence processor that optimizes image and sound through machine learning algorithms;
  • HDR10 + providing extra brightness in clear scenes, and dark scenes make them even darker;
  • compatibility with Bixby 2.0, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant;
  • reach QLED 8K 2019 has screens ranging from 55 to 98 inches.

I think we'll try them out in the near future and come back in more detail.
