According to AS, Thiago Almada is the latest name on Pep Guardiola's list of reinforcements. At the age of 17 he is a starter at Vélez Sarsfield and is nicknamed in Argentina as the "new Messi".

The same source notes that Manchester City is willing to pay about 23 million euros to guarantee the services of Thiago Almada in the next market. Since he still does not fulfill the necessary requirements to be able to be registered in the Premier League, the midfielder should be transferred to Girona, similar to what happens with Douglas Luiz.
