Four health centers in Belo Horizonte will be open this Saturday (20) to attend patients who have symptoms of dengue. São Paulo, Northeast, Santa Terezinha, Pampulha, Tirol, Barreiro, and Andradas, in Venda Nova, will exclusively receive people who suspect that they have the disease from 8am to 5pm.

The sites that will have reinforced functioning were chosen from the number of cases recorded in the regions with the highest incidence of dengue. Anyone suspected of being sick should keep an eye on the main symptoms: high fever (over 39 ° C), headache, in the joints and behind the eyes, extreme tiredness, itchy spots on the body.

Next Monday (22), the municipality will also open a Voluntary Replacement Unit, for patients who need to take serum to hydrate, at the Central-South Emergency Care Unit (UPA). The space will operate 24 hours a day and will have 25 beds to receive, including people sent from other UPAs in the city. According to the city hall, the number of nurses, supplies and the capacity to perform exams was expanded.

This month, 70 health professionals were hired, of whom 37 were doctors. There are still 155 open positions. Opportunities can be checked here.
