For a long time, the information appears on the network, which indicates that the next Samsung Galaxy S10 in one version will support 5th generation networks. Although the ads and leaks also concern some third-party models, it can be assumed that the emergence of Samsung's smartphone market will boost the market and the real popularity of this technology, although the 5G networks in S10 are initially operated only on models available in Korea.

The Galaxy S10 described should appear on the market in the first quarter of 2019. So if the current reports prove to be true, the first important smartphone with 5G will hit the market in a few months. Interestingly, people who plan to buy an iPhone with the support of the fifth generation network will have to have more patience. The point is not only that Appe's smartphones will only debut in the second part of the year. According to Fast Company's website, the first 5G-enabled iPhones would appear in the market by 2020, in practice probably around 1.5 years after the debut of S10.

The site provides this information based on the knowledge of people who should be aware of Apple's current plans. Currently, there are many indications that iPhones that support 5G networks will be equipped with Intel modules, and these should be run in a 10 nm process. It is worth remembering that Apple should open the way for the use of MediaTek chips, but the source quoted by Fast Company indicates that this is probably a contingency plan in case of failure using the chips from Intel.

Details are not yet known, but if current forecasts are correct, it seems that 5G support on Android smartphones may already be quite commonplace before the technology among iPhones for the first time. On the other hand, if the use of 5G for some reason does not become popular, the emergence of the fifth generation of support for iPhones will certainly be a stimulus for most other manufacturers to be interested in implementing 5G on their devices.
