MANILA, Philippines – Andres Nonong actor died at the age of 71. He was known for playing characters in horror and comedy movies, and for playing Bangky in the drama series led by LizQuen. Forever.
Powee Capino announced the news in a Facebook post on November 6, referring to the actor as his "Tito Nonong."
"Please pray for the eternal rest of the soul of my Titus Nonong, who passed away this morning," said Capino.
De Andrés was part of numerous movies and TV shows (according to ABS-CBN, the count is more than 100), often as a little actor playing the part of a corpse, earning the nickname "Bangkay".
It was on Forever that De Andres has become part of a love team with fellow veteran horror filmmaker Lilia Cuntapay. Together, they were known as "BangLi" and performed alongside Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
