After several days of intense search, the authorities found the body of a young girl missing and a victim of feminicide in the city of Juliaca, in the Puno. The last time he heard of her was when he left the house for a meeting with his friends.

The corpse of Jhomara Erika Cruz Mayta, 22, was found inside a polyethylene bag. The package was thrown on the banks of the Huata River, near the city of Juliaca, in the jurisdiction of the district of Caracoto.
Agents who participated in the removal of the body reported finding evidence of beatings and indignation in the woman's body, which had been missing since May 20. Scalp scrap was also found a few feet away from the body, which would show a violent crime.
The case is investigated by prosecutor Edgar Machaca of the First Provincial Criminal Prosecutor of San Román, in coordination with the agents of the Department of Criminal Investigation (Depincri), specialists in criminalistics and members of the police station of Caracoto.
After the removal of the corpse, the representative of the Public Ministry ordered his hospitalization in the morgue of the Institute of Legal Medicine of the urbanization of La Capilla for the necropsy of the law.
Since his disappearance, his relatives have indicated that Jhomara Erika He left his house accompanied by two friends and his partner was an agent of the National Police. Identities were currently held in reserve.
The victim of this new feminicide leaves a two-year-old child in the orphanage. Even before her disappearance, she worked for a company in the city of Juliaca.
