A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was recorded this Saturday night in the city of lime.
According to information from the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP), the seismic movement occurred at 23h52.
The entity also specified that the event was located 13 kilometers south of Lima and had a depth of 61 kilometers.
The movement had a grade III intensity for Lima, within the Mercalli scale, and can be felt by most people inside the buildings.
In the event of a major earthquake, the Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) recommends preparing an emergency backpack.
This bag should be stocked with basic supplies and a reserve box made up of a small pantry with light food, water, a flashlight, a radio and a blanket.
