The goal of such a product is to equip any machine that has Thunderbolt 3 with much better graphics performance.

New in this model is the 700 watt PSU, USB and GB Ethernet as well as the Razer Chroma light effects.

The device works with both Windows and MacBooks. Windows 10 machines must have a Thunderbolt 3 and eGFX support machine and the latest Windows RS5 update, while a Mac should have Thunderbolt 3, MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later and supported AMD Radeon cards.

Note that it does not come with the GPU, the board you choose for you. RTX, GTX and Nvidia Quadro cards are supported. The same is the Radeon and Radeon Pro card supported by AMD XConnect.

Razer laptops supported include the Razer Blade Stealth 13, the Razer Blade 15, and the Razer Blade Pro 17 (the model with the GeForce GTX 1060).
