Fall in oil prices

Oil prices fell on Tuesday afternoon and evening. One hour before closing time in the US, Brent crude fell $ 1.20 to $ 71.97, while light crude fell 98 cents to $ 62.12.

According to Reuters, the drop in oil prices is due to statements by Iraqi oil minister Thamer Ghadhban that the country will increase its oil production and export capacity by 2019 and that it is reaching agreements with companies countries.

Iraq, OPEC's second-largest producer, produces 4.6 million barrels of oil per day and now reaches five million barrels a day by 2019.
