A dead man is found in the sea just outside Nidelva in Trondheim on Tuesday morning. So far, it's completely unclear if anything has happened, police say.
The deceased was found by the Coastal Administration boat in the area and then caught by the Coast Guard, reports operations manager Kirsten Bergstrøm in the Trøndelag police district to NTB.
"The message arrived at the police just after eight o'clock, and the man was brought to the coast and will be hidden," says Bergstrøm.
Police have not received any missed messages at the last moment, and the finding is not yet tied to any concrete mission messages. They also have no idea if there is any crime behind it, but the crime technicians are in place to do their investigations.
After Adresseavisen is informed, it is clear that the dead are not the missing Odin André Hagen Jakobsen (18), who has been missing since November.
Police confirm to NTB that the man has not been in the water for a long time.
