David Jones will open the doors of his new store in Auckland on November 21st.
The upscale department store is long awaited as part of the Westfield Newmarket renovation.

The company's first international store opened in Wellington in 2016.
The David Jones Newmarket will span 7,000 square meters on two floors and will offer the full category of fashion, beauty, children's clothing and home goods business.
Customers will also be able to access beauty services and personal buyers.
"David Jones Westfield Newmarket will bring the best of local and international brands to New Zealand's largest city and we look forward to opening our new store soon," said Faraguna.
While David Jones was expanding in New Zealand, the company was "aggressively" closing stores in Australia as profits fell.
David Jones operating profit fell from $ A64 million ($ NZ68.2m) to $ A37m ($ NZ39.9m) in the last financial year, according to data released in August.
At the time, Woolworths Holdings CEO Ian Moir said David Jones' goal was to reduce floor space by 20% by 2026.
A spokesman declined to say whether Australian results would affect plans for New Zealand.
Scentre Group leasing director in New Zealand, John Papagiannis, said David Jones represents some of the best local and international fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.
"We look forward to seeing our customers embrace all this has to offer from November 21."
The opening of David Jones Newmarket marks the final stage of 18-month development at Westfield Newmarket.
A dedicated lego store, Countdown supermarket. MECCA, Veronika Maine, Maje and Event Cinema, among other brands, were scheduled to open over the next month.
Upon completion, Westfield Newmarket will have 230 retailers, outlets and food services.
The 4.5-hectare site included two multi-level buildings connected by an aerial bridge.
David Jones anchored the site at 277 Broadway, while Farmers, Cocoa Republic, and Chemist Warehouse anchored the building at 309 Broadway.
Westfield Newmarket had been completed on schedule, although there were some problems with leaks following a recent heavy rain.
