Mike McRoberts was trying to impress his mother, but he did not impress the judges.
Welcome back the other Monday night in Dancing with the Stars. It's time for the fourth elimination.
There are many stories at stake tonight. Will we actually vote for a fourth woman in a row? Will Walter's defeat come to an end, or will Manu pay the price for being too good, too soon?
We are about to find out, but first comes the three couples who failed to go last night.

LAURA DANIEL & SHAE MOUNTAIN
DetailsLaura is burning the candle at both ends this week, juggling the Comedy Festival at night with dancing stuff in the morning.
You'd think it might be easier, with a few low-energy ones, but that's not Laura. Instead, she and Shae are going to hell with a jive to Uncommitted It's so frantic that I can not tell if it's good to dance or just … to dance fast.
But the judges know, and they love more than anything else they have seen this season. Camilla shouts something, Julz says "baby", Rachel gets up and declares it "worth it" before giving Laura and Shae all nines.
Total score: 27
MIKE MCROBERTS & KRISTIE WILLIAMS
DetailsMike's mother is in the audience tonight, which is a nice touch with Mother's Day and everything. Some may say it's a cynical move to avoid elimination – you can not eliminate someone in front of your mother on Mother's Day – but personally I applaud Mike for playing the game.
Your tango for Sweet Dreams is, again, below par without being terrible.
"I do not know if this was a sweet dream or a nightmare," jokes Julz, which sounds a bit harsh, but a good phrase is a good phrase, just run with it. Julz ends up provoking the most success of the season when he refuses to shut up during Rachel's critique, and she correctly growls at him.
Total score: 19
GLEN OSBORNE & VANESSA COLE
DetailsIs it just me or does Glen look like he's twenty years younger tonight? What's your secret? Probably dancing for 6 hours a day, or maybe it's the bright red vest. You can see if I can get one in ASOS.
There's a lot of trotting on the dance floor for this week's brisk pace Walking in the sunshine, but even without large elevators, you might say it's fine. The judges chilled a little after the stoush and quietly confirmed that yes, it is a good trot.
Glen is an "elegant dancer," Vanessa is a choreography mentor, and that should be enough to see them through next week.
Total score: 23
DetailsThis is the second most shocking of the season. It's Mike and Kristie dancing against William and Amelia.
Shocking because everyone thought that Mike would enter into the final courtesy of their small improvements week after week and huge star power.
Shocking because William is one of the best dancers in the competition, not to mention the funniest. Certainly his rasta foxtrot is very cool and unique for the judges to eliminate, even if they are probably under the pressure of the producers to try to find a way to keep Mike.
Rachel is saving William. Julz is saving William. Camilla would have saved William, too.
Mike McRoberts Dancing with the Stars The race has come to an end. In the audience, her mother seems a little sad, but proud of her adult son.
