School: Correctly Handled the Measles Alarm | Interior

"We acted correctly, we did exactly what we had to do," said deputy director Richard van Bochove of the Oranje Nassau College Parkdreef on Wednesday.

Van Bochove believes the letter to his parents "was not premature at all." The employee had come to the doctor over the weekend with complaints and advised him to notify the school immediately. "We did just that. Protocol worked."

Recently, there has been concern about the highly contagious disease. In Europe, the number of measles cases is increasing. It was recently announced that four children were infected with measles in a day care center in The Hague. And there is also an increase in the United States.
