Morocco – Oil prices were retreating Friday during European talks in a market that is moving at low levels in addressing Washington's sanctions against Iranian oil exports.
Brent North Sea crude for January delivery was worth $ 72.66 at the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), down 23 cents at close on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex), a barrel of sweet light oil (WTI) for the December contract lost 52 cents to $ 63.17.
Brent hit $ 72.42, the lowest in two and a half months, while the WTI fell to $ 62.99.
