Le Matin – Concession of advances on film receipts and documentary projects

The Commission for the Production of Cinematographic Works decided to grant advances on the receipts of various film and documentary projects for the third session of 2018, held from November 12 to 16 in Rabat under the chairmanship Driss Alaoui Mdaghri.
In the category of films after the production, an amount of one million dirhams is granted to the film "Taxi Bied" directed by Moncef Malzi, and 150,000 DH to the short "Angoisse" of Ali Benjelloun and "Roujoula" by Ilias El Faris, said a declaration of the Moroccan Cinema Center (CCM).
Regarding pre-production films, a total of 4,150,000 DH will be awarded to the "Wind Rider" feature films, which will be directed by Anouar Mouatassim and "La vie moi va bien", which will be directed by Al Hadi Ulad Mohand. In the same category, sums of 4,100,000 DH, 3,600,000 DH and 1,950,000 DH are respectively dedicated to the feature films "Green Card" by Mohamed Hicham Regragui, "Le Mont Moussa" by Driss Mrini and "Heaven is Dark ", which will be co-directed by Joseph Bull and Luke Seomore.
Still in this genre, 150,000 dirhams and 200,000 dirhams are given to the short film projects "Dear Father" by Khalil Hassani and "What Matters If Animals Die" by Sofia Alaoui.
Regarding the documentaries on the Sahrawi culture Hassan, the history and the space before the production, an amount of 1.000.000 DH is attributed to the feature documentary of Ali Oualdah "Calendar without numbers", "Li Attarikhi man Yahkih" Drissi Sidi Mohamed, "Esmara, Baw Soukhour Bi Asrar Al Ousour", which will be directed by Lhassan El Omari and "Rihlat Al Baht Ani Arrabaid" by Taoufik Charaf-Eddine.
In the same category, an amount of 875,000 DH is awarded to the documentary projects "Sourrat Assayf" by Salem Ballal and "Ain Abarbour" by Sidi Mohamed Fadel El Joummani.
In addition to its chairman, the Commission is composed of Amina Saibari, Latifa Baqa, Meriem Khatouri, Fatima Ait Mhand, Laila Tounzi, Mrabih Rabou Maou Laenin, Mohammed Bakrim, Abderrazak Ezzahir, Mohamed El Kadmiri, Driss Tahri and Abdelhak Fikri.
