A memorandum of understanding on the launch of the first digital interactive center (CID) in Morocco was signed Friday in Rabat, paving the way for the introduction of technologies and solutions for better transmission of knowledge in the fields of education and business.

Started by EON Reality, the world leader in knowledge transfer based on virtual and augmented reality (VAN), in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), this digital project will contribute to the transfer of knowledge in ways that efficient solution for businesses and students and provide access to state-of-the-art solutions, including a virtual showroom, an application research and development lab.

Located on the campus of the Polytechnic University Mohammed VI in Ben Guérir, the new CID will provide RVA technology, solutions and applications necessary for the growing digital transformation of the academic, industrial, educational and vocational training sectors. .

The memorandum of understanding was signed by representatives of the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Industry. the Digital Economy, the US Embassy, ​​the EON Reality Group, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, the Digital Development Agency and the Mohammed V University in Rabat.

The CID is designed to develop virtual and augmented reality solutions for various skills and professions, for educational institutions as well as for industrial companies. It will house an innovative virtual reality academy to teach students how to create RVA content and applications for industry and education.

These skills will allow them to integrate areas ranging from architecture, visualization products, video game creation and multimedia design, while strengthening the workforce employed by highly skilled newcomers.

In addition, the center will support the creation of new startups and assist industrial enterprises in their digital transition, in line with the government's strategy of digital transformation and industry 4.0.
