Closure on the Apotheosis of the 25th edition of FIAV

The 25th International Video Art Festival (FIAV) ended at the end of a rich and diverse edition in various venues in the city of Casablanca, including the Ben Msick Faculty of Humanities and Humanities, the Moulay Rachid Theater, the French Institute, Beaux-Arts and the Studio des Arts Vivants.

A number of artistic activities featuring a spit of creators and artists both domestic and foreign were offered to festival goers who were many to meet and who had the opportunity to deliver their prints through forms that were given to them to gather their opinions.

Abdelkader Gonegai, president of the Festival, also rector of the Ben M & # 39; Sik Arts and Humanities Faculty, said that the success of the event was made possible by the rich programming, marked by the organization of 11 workshops and a masterclass, as well as concerts and exhibitions which have been widely followed as it features the latest innovations in video art.

About 180 participants from 20 countries, plus 200 beneficiaries from the workshops set up, were present, he said, lamenting, however, "the lack of support" for this event that celebrates 25 years of existence and is a development factor to the city of Casablanca and a key element in parallel cultural diplomacy.
