For the fifth edition of "La Mer à Vélo", the association 4 S, "Sport, Health, Solidarity, Savoie", launches a new challenge: to take 40 women with cancer to participate in Vogalonga in Venice. Some will join Venice by bike from Chambéry. But before departure, we must complete the budget.
In a few weeks, on May 27, will be the start of the fifth edition of "La Mer à Vélo", a challenge for women with cancer who are resorting to or in remission, who go cycling for a trip of several hundred kilometers. This year the target is Venice and the 45th Vogalonga: 32 kilometers of paddle boats in the lagoon. The 40 participants will not all ride a bike and Vogalonga. Ten will do the total of 830 kilometers of bicycle between Chambery and Venice, other part of the journey or just the Vogalonga. The total budget is 34,000 euros. The association launches a call to raise 5,000 euros to complete the budget.
