Mexico City. The clothing and electronics stores attract the most consumers during the second day of the business initiative known as El Buen Fin.
The influx of consumers varied according to the type of store and product, while the offers were maintained in a range between 15% and 50%, as well as benefits such as promotions for months without interest and additional discounts.
In the Antara mall, the influx of people went from mid-to-low inside the shops, although the presence of customers in the corridors with their shopping bags was noticeable.
Inside the Palacio de Hierro in Polanco, the number of customers who reviewed the products, or, were trained in the payment boxes or walked in the corridors was of medium to high level in certain establishments during the afternoon of this Saturday, where Clothing and electronics were the products that most attracted the attention of potential customers.
According to the National Alliance of Small Markets (Anpec), the monthly monitoring of basket prices and market research in Good End Detecto? that on average only a third of the nine products evaluated has an attractive discount.
"For this survey were considered five department stores, in all sales promotions the most competitive are the months of interest-free purchases, however, buying in this mode represents a risk to the economy of Mexican families in the medium term," said the agency .
Within the market study that was carried out for Bom Bom for Anpec, products such as screens, cell phones, computers, video game consoles, refrigerators and washing machines were taken into account.
"With this background, Anpec urges the community to verify that purchases of months without interest are true and do not end up charging in a hidden way the financial cost of product prices," he said.
