Tom Holland reveals new spider man and Mysterio photo from far from home

Tom Holland revealed another image of Spider-Man Away from Home on his Instagram, featuring himself and Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio.

Warning: Serious Spoilers for Avengers Endgame below. Carry on at your own risk.

After the record-breaking Avengers: Endgame weekend, it's easy to forget that Marvel Phase 3 ends with Spider-Man's Far From Home.

Recently deprived, Peter Parker's latest adventure takes place after Avengers: Endgame. In addition to the fact that it features some new suits, a cast of returning kids, Jake Gyllenhaal and a number of elementary animal things, we know basically nothing about the movie's plot. This new image, posted on the Instagram of the Netherlands, at least allows us to speculate on the relationship between Spider-Man and this new villain.

The unreleased image features Spider-Man and Mysterio talking in some kind of bunker / control room. Most interesting in this image, Peter is seen without his mask. Pointing to some kind of mutual respect between Mysterio and himself, or at least a relationship that is a bit different from the traditional "I'll unmask Spider-Man," a vile plot.

Director Jon Watts also recently revealed in an interview with EW: "If Tony Stark was the mentor of the previous films, we thought it would be interesting to play Mysterio almost like a legal uncle."
