Steven Seagal: I would definitely consider filming a movie in Sarawak – Nation


KUCHING (Bern): Hollywood action star Steven Seagal left a trail of impressed fans as he made a special visit to Siniawan's old town in Bau near here on Sunday (April 28).

Accompanied by his wife Erdenetuya, Seagal, 67, said he would consider using Siniawan, famous for its unique night market, as a shooting location.

"Yes, definitely," he told fans and the media before going to visit the Swee Guk Kung temple and Buddhist Village temple, as well as throw fish into the river at Siniawan.

Seagal, who made a special appearance at the recently concluded Asean International Film Festival and Awards (Aiffa), also visited the Semenggoh Wildlife Center to see some orangutans and planted some trees to mark their visit to the state's tourist attraction.

He is known for action movies like Under siege (1992) and Above the law (1988). – Bernama
