Liverpool should miss target Thorgan Hazard this summer, as the owner has apparently already reached an agreement with his new club.
The Belgian wing, the brother of Chelsea star Eden, is keen to leave Borussia Monchengladbach and must pay a sum of 40 million euros (34.6 million pounds).
Recent reports have suggested that Liverpool and Arsenal, the Premier League team, would have no problem finding the asking price of the Bundesliga team, having been impressed with his performances since leaving Chelsea for Germany.
The newspaper claimed that Reds Coach Jurgen Klopp sees the 26-year-old as a player who could bolster his line of attack before another attempt to clinch glory in the Premier League next season, while Unai Emery is also a big fan of the player.
Speculation has always been plentiful, although the giants of the Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund is the most likely to guarantee your signature, with the player preferring a stay in Germany over a move to England.
Now, an interview that the player recently made with the Belgian exit VTM News apparently confirmed that he agreed to a deal with Dortmund during a summer transfer, which means Liverpool will probably lose.
"I have a contract for another season, but I've said before that I want to take the next step in my career," said the 26-year-old.
"I want to try something new. Now it's up to the clubs to come to an agreement. This will take a while, it's always like that with the negotiations. There are conversations between Gladbach and Dortmund, yes.
"I have a personal agreement with Dortmund. It's out of my hands. It's up to the clubs now.
