Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has announced a long list of smartphones and tablets that in due course will receive the update of EMUI 9.1. The list with a total of 49 devices includes the Huawei and Honor smartphones and the Mediapad tablets and should receive the latest update of the EMUI 91. At no time distant, although no deadline has been given for launch.
The latest Huawei P30 series comes with the EMUI 9.1 pre-installed at the top of the Android Pie, and according to Huawei's latest update plan, the Mate 20 series (Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X and Mate 20 Porsche Design edition) will be the first category of devices eligible for EMUI 9.1. You must remember that the Chinese company has already started to release the stable upgrade for the Mate 20 Pro and the Mate 20 X (AL00) and all the devices of the series after a Beta test of the same in China.
The Huawei Mate 10 series, Mate 9, P20, P10, Nova 4, Nova 3, Nova 8, Honor 8, Honor 2, Honor 7, Honor 10, Honor V10, among others the EMUI 9.1 Closed Beta for internal testing.
Completing the list is the third category of devices that includes the MediaPad M5 Lite (10.1 inches), MediaPad M5 Lite (8.0 inches), MediaPad M5 (10.3 inches), Honor Tab 5 and some other tablets as well such as the Huawei Nova 4e, Enjoy 9 Plus, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy Max, Enjoy 9s, Enjoy 7s, Enjoy 9e, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 8X Max, Honor 20i, Honor 9i and Honor Play.
Huawei has not revealed the exact time that these devices will receive the update, but as the Mate 20 series has already received the update, the next category of devices should receive the update sooner or later.
