Product Manager of Tie app Bowen Pan announced the launch of Tie for iOS and Android, a TikTok competitor.
Pan describes the app as "a video app that lets you create short, fun videos and share them with friends," for everything like the lip sync videos from TikTok to summarize clips without music in the now defunct Vine.
The app has "cool camera and effects tools" to help users edit their recordings, and embellish production with text or music from a huge music library.
Users can easily find trend videos through the Lasso hashtag tracking. The most popular video formats and challenges will be within your reach to emulate or just to laugh.
Of course, the application connects seamlessly with Facebook – or whatever social media platform you prefer – so users can upload creations to their story at a glance.
Last week, a Vine co-founder announced a successor to the legendary app called Byte, but this is not expected to launch until next spring.
With Tie combining all the characteristics of both Vine (and probably its successor, although very little information has been revealed) and the immensely popular TikTok application, Facebook might be steady in the trend of video loop at the perfect time.
The app is available on the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store for free. – AFP Relaxnews
