Hakim Ziyech has announced that he may be inclined to remain in Ajax beyond the current season, claiming he is someone "very picky".
The Moroccan scored 19 goals and added 20 assists in all competitions, with Ajax reaching the top of their national league and quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Matthijs de Ligt and David Neres are among those in the ranks of Ajax, drawing covetous looks from the top clubs in Europe, while Frenkie de Jong has already accepted a transfer to Barcelona for the next term.
The Moroccan has been linked to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United during the marvelous Ajax campaign in Europe, but his reluctance to leave the Dutch club may still prevent the possibility of a move to the Premier League.
"It's all possible," midfielder Ziyech told Inside Ajax.
"I am always a very demanding person and there must be a club that I want to exchange for Ajax. This does not just happen.
Ajax will face Tottenham in the first round of the Champions League semi-final on 30 April as they attempt to reach their first European final since winning the 1995 European Cup.
They caused a sensation all over the world when they beat the Bernabeu 4-1 and defeated European champions Real Madrid – Ziyech scored the first goal – before advancing to eliminate Juventus from Cristiano Ronaldo in the quarter-finals.
The team will face Groningen in the league on Saturday as they try to put the light of day between them and champion PSV Eindhoven at the top of the table.
Ziyech, who joined Ajax in 2016 from FC Twente, is hired by the end of the 2020/2 season.
