The T-Cross is an urban off-road vehicle that offers versatile standard equipment as well as high functionality in compact dimensions. T-Cross is even more suitable for the city than the T-Roc, as well as much more compact than the Tiguan.
The new T-Cross is compact, but not necessarily small. Whether you want more space for passengers or luggage, everything is possible thanks to a sliding rear seat that can be moved by 14 inches. In this way, it is possible to increase the volume of the compact crossover load compartment from 385 to 455 liters if necessary, but to the rear of the rear seat backrest to 1281 liters.
T-Cross already offers a wide range of standard equipment, including the most advanced driver assistants that have been offered previously for top class cars. Standard equipment includes Front Assist collision avoidance warning system with pedestrian monitoring and emergency braking in the city, as well as Lane Lane maintenance system, Hill Start Assist automatic back up system, active passenger safety system. In addition, you can also choose a driver fatigue detector, adaptive cruise control and Park Assist Park Assist as well as a Blind Spot Track Switch to monitor "blind" areas.
Volkswagen's latest SUVs also come with digital innovations – a cordless phone charger and four USB ports (two in the front and two in the rear). Optional Keyless Access and engine starter unlocking system, as well as a digital dashboard with an eight-inch touchscreen and an updated Active Display Display dashboard. The beats sound system with 300 W of power and a separate subwoofer in the luggage compartment are available as an option.
T-Cross will initially be offered with two 1.0 TSI three-cylinder petrol engines with a gasoline particulate filter that develops 95 or 115 hp and 1.6 four-cylinder TDI engines with 95 hp. Later, a 1.5 TSI four-cylinder engine with 150 hp will also be available. All engines meet the latest Euro 6d-TEMP emission standard.
T-Cross, like its sister Polo model, is manufactured using the MQB modular platform at the Spanish Volkswagen factory in Navarra.
In Latvia, the starting price of T-Cross is € 15,990.
