Manchester City, England's Premier League club, announced on Thursday that it had extended its deal with Ukrainian player Oleksandr Zinchenko, who plays in the defender and midfielder positions.

The contract with Ukraine was concluded by 2024.

Last season, Zinchenko, 22, went to 29 City games to help the team win the second round.

"This season has shown that we are prone to success. It was fantastic to be part of such a historic moment, and I will definitely never forget, "said the guard on the club's website.

"But now I'm concentrating on next season, and I have no doubt that there will be more enjoyable times," added Zinchenko.

Chinchenko joined the City Club in 2016, spending part of that time in the PSV team of Eindhoven. He started his professional career at the Russian club Ufa.

It has been reported that Kails Volkers will remain in Manchester until 2024.

Manchester City repeatedly triumphed last season in the English Premier League and won the English Football Association (FA) Cup.
