The information was prepared by Viktors Zaķis, spokesman for RP "Rīgas satiksme".
"Rīgas satiksme" regrets that the Central Finance and Contracts Agency has also been under pressure and is in actual liquidation of one of the largest projects of the Cohesion Fund "Skanstes Tram line". It should be noted that there is no fact that even an acquisition related to this project would have some signs of corruption. "Rīgas satiksme" has no information that any proceeding relating to corruption involving the purchase of Skanstes trams has been initiated against the capital company or its cooperation partners in Latvia and abroad. to further reduce the likelihood of such circumstances.
"Rīgas satiksme" also rejects allegations of possible risks related to possible delays, financial opportunities of the company or quality of project management, as well as the design work of this tram line, which is an essential part of Riga's public transport system . The construction project is divided into several rounds, the works being started within the timeframe foreseen in the project, and the amount of real estate needed to carry out the project has been reduced, and there are no significant obstacles to the purchase of the property by the municipality until the beginning of the works. procedure of the electric floor.
Given the above, Rīgas satiksme believes that the termination of the CFLA contract is unreasonable and is not in line with the actual circumstances and will continue to be implemented in the current part, so if the ACCP wishes to recover the funds paid in the project , will have to appeal to the court in accordance with the procedure established by the Civil Procedure Law.
