Halloween vegetable soup. Recipe for the show «Um, dois

Serving interesting food, delicious and healthy cream soup – here’s an idea for kids, how to serve simple food differently.

“One, two – ready!” The season is over. In this series, two teams of young chefs led by chef Raimonds Zommers will prepare a delicious autumn cream soup with vegetables.

In preparation for Halloween, the soup will be served in a very special way – in a carved pumpkin!

Halloween vegetable soup requires:

  • A medium sized pumpkin.
  • A kilo of potatoes.
  • A cabbage.
  • Two carrots.
  • Onion.
  • 200 milliliters of sour cream.
  • Some slices of white bread.
  • Salt.
  • Chili.


Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut the vegetables into small cubes.

Place the sliced ​​vegetables in a pan and add about 2.5 liters of water. Add spices.

While the vegetables are boiling, carefully cut the top of the pumpkin and scrape it with a spoon.

Boil the vegetables for about 20-25 minutes until tender.

Very carefully and slowly mix the vegetables, add the cream. After choosing pieberiet vegetables or some spices.

Cut the bread into small cubes. Place in a dry skillet and toast for a few minutes.

Pour the ready soup into the pumpkin and decorate with white bread toast.
