Milan, April 30, 2019 – Positive session for Italian Stock Exchange. Milan (with opening of -0.09% to 21,769 points) accelerates in the middle of the session after the diffusion of data in the GDP (+ 0.2% in the first quarter of 2019): Mib Ftse in Piazza Affari close one + 0.43% to 21.881 points. Others remain weak European Stock Exchanges on the eve of the Fed's Federal Committee, which is expected to leave US rates unchanged: London (-0.28%), Frankfurt (-0.01%) and Paris unchanged.
SPREAD – After data on GDP, the decline closes propagation in between BTP and dam Germans: the differential goes to 255 points (closing yesterday in 258), with 10 year yield 2.56%.
TITLES – Among the titles of Piazza Affari we highlight the purchases in Ferragamo (+ 3.01%), which has the highest level since Dec. 7, boosted by TopFirst analysts' top performance recommendation. Too good Juventus (+ 2.23%), after strong sales in recent days. Down Saipem (-2%), Mediobanca (-1.17%), Leonardo (-1.06%) and Exor (-0.9%).
WALL STREET – Contrast Aperture for Wall Street: the Dow Jones gained 0.08%, while the Nasdaq sold 0.56% pulled down by Google after disappointing quarterly results (-8%). In negative territory, the S & P 500 index also lost 0.19%.
ASIAN BANKS – Asian investors are worried about the global economy and there is also expectation for Apple's quarterly, after disappointing data from Samsung and Google Alphabet. Thus, Asian stock markets closed: Hong Kong below 0.6% also Seoul While Singapore leaves 0.3% on the ground. On the plus side Shanghai, of 0.5%. All week, Tokyo closed for the abdication of the emperor Akihito.
