Velox, a direct Israeli-based printing company, raised $ 32 million, the company said on Tuesday. The round was led by JAL Ventures and O.R.T. Technologies, with the participation of investors, including the German chemical companies Altana AG and Evonik Industries AG. Founded in 2012, Velox develops and manufactures direct-to-industrial-grade digital decoration products for the rigid container industry. The company employs more than 60 people in Israel.

In June, Altana entered into a partnership with investment firm SKion GmbH, both owned by German entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, to invest US $ 300 million in Landa Digital Printing, a division of Landa Corporation Ltd. Based on an old investment made by Altana in 2014, both companies now hold a 46% stake in Landa Digital Printing.
