Three dead from H1N1 flu virus


Three people have died of the H1N1 flu virus so far in Myanmar's Yangon region, health and sports ministry doctor Thar Tun Kyaw said Wednesday, according to Xinhua.

The three reported deaths were from Yangon General Hospital and two other hospitals in the districts of North Okkalapa and Insein, respectively.

A total of eight cases of such viral infections were detected nationwide after the specimen test on June 14, including the three deaths.

Similar to seasonal flu, symptoms of H1N1 include fever, cough, sore throat, coryza, body aches, headaches, chills, vomiting and diarrhea.
