MK Yair Lapid, one of the heads of the Blue and White party, is under pressure to give up the rotation agreement to the prime minister's seat, Israel Hayom reported.
Currently, Blue and White leader Benny Gantz is ready to play the role of the PM with Lapid.
However, internal polls conducted by several parties have shown that if Lapid withdraws from the rotation agreement, the Blue and White party will win seats, snatching 2 to 3 seats from the right block.
Despite the promise of additional seats, Lapid has so far resisted pressure, on Sunday announcing that the rotation agreement will continue as planned.
"Actual polls, not polls done, have shown that there is not even one person who changes their vote for Blue and White if I leave," said Lapid.
