An extremist group of illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian ambulance on Sunday while driving to a patient in the southern part of the occupied West Bank of Hebron, causing damage.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said it had received a call from a family of a patient in the Tal Romeida neighborhood of Hebron and headed for Shuhada Street after coordinating the ambulance passage down Shuhada Street. .
He added that once the ambulance reached Shuhada Street, the illegal settlers began throwing stones at it and blocked the road, although it was ringing its siren and trying to reach the patient.
Eid Abu Monshar, a Palestinian Red Crescent doctor, said Israeli assailants saw the ambulance running to the patient but started throwing stones at him.
Mohammad Zghayyar, a spokesman for the Youth Coalition Against Settlements in Hebron, said coalition and international activists had witnessed at least fifteen illegal Israeli colonial settlers attacking the ambulance and closing the road.
He added that members of the coalition began filming the attack, before the soldiers attacked them and forced them to leave.
