Roadworks to be held at Clarinbridge from tomorrow

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Works on the road are scheduled to start at Clarinbridge from tomorrow morning.
The works were previously postponed several times – and concerns were raised about its impact on the village.
The texturising works through the village take about three days to complete.
However, the works will cease during the busiest hours – such as the opening and closing of schools.
Works will not start every day until 9:30 and priority will be given to school traffic between 2:45 pm and 3:15 p.m.
This means that the works can extend into the night to compensate for downtime during the day.
Traffic management procedures will also be in place during the duration of the works with a Stop Go system in operation.
