A man is being treated at the hospital after being shot in north Dublin on Friday night.
The incident occurred at Belcamp Crescent at 7:30 p.m. A 20-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital, where Garda says he is being treated for bullet wounds on his leg. Your injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Witnesses said that a silvered Volkswagen Boro pulled up beside the man and a passenger left, shooting the man twice with a pistol. The car then moved away from the area.
House-to-house inquiries have begun and gardaĆ are conducting a technical examination of the scene. GardaĆ appealed to the witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Coolock Garda station on 01 666 4200.
