KOMPAS.com – The managing director of Persija in Jakarta, Gede Widiade, said he had gotten several foreign players to join the next season of 2019.
According to Gede, the quick move of Persija is to hit the target of next season's champions.
"I have been looking for some foreign players and some have to deal for next season, "said Gede Widiade, quoted by BolaSport.com.
However, Gede did not want to name the foreign players who would join the Kemayoran Tigers. He only asked the public to wait for an official decision from the Persija administration.

"There are some who agreed. I do not want to mention his name, just wait," Gede said.
Currently, Persija has four foreign players, namely Marko Simic, Renan Silva, Rohit Chand and Jaimerson Xavier.

Of the four names, only Marko Simic will have a two-year contract term and the rest will expire at the end of the 2018 season.
