JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) has seized a number of illegal drugs consisting of men's resistance-enhancing drugs, slimming supplements and cosmetic creams.
These items were obtained from a house and two warehouses owned by the suspect M in the area of Kebon Jeruk, west of Jakarta.
"We have technically reported that this is a product that has a great economic value of up to R $ 17.4 billion in 4. We have captured the hands," said BPOM director Penny K Lukito in his office, Johar Baru, of Jakarta, Monday. (05/11/2018)

Penny said the illegal products that were circulated by suspects from these warehouses came from large import producers.
According to him, there are three things that make drugs categorized as illegal.
First, it should be taken by prescription or by a medical escort. Secondly, without marketing authorization, and thirdly, the content of drugs is harmful to health.
Excessive use of illegal drugs will also have an impact on liver and kidney function.
"So the packaging is sophisticated almost like the original, but no one knows the blend in it, if it's tasty, it's dangerous," he said.

In this incident, suspect M claimed to have operated for a year circulating online. However, after an inspection, sales were made since 2015.
"We studied for approximately four months, which eventually happened that all transactions were through the media online. So, from there, we're looking for certain transportation services, "said Penny.
As a result of his actions, the suspect was subject to the Consumer Defense Act and violation of the Health Law with a maximum sentence of 15 years and a fine of Rp 1.5 billion.
