Nach Baliye 9: Choreographers boycott the semi-final with Ahmed Khan calling it 'zero', Raveena Tandon intervenes: report | television

Choreographers on the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 decided to boycott the show after Judge Ahmed Khan made derogatory comments about a dance performance. According to a report by Spotboye, filmmaker and judge of the show, Ahmed Khan was disappointed by the performances of Anita Hassanandani-Rohit Reddy and Prince Narula-Yuvika Chaudhary during a dance showdown and called him "# 0" ;.

Sad about the comment, choreographers Vaibhav Ghuge, Amardeep Singh Natt, Yash Pandya, Subhash-Macedon D´Mello (Shantanu-Nityami) and Anuradha Iyenger decided to boycott the semi-finals episode. A representative from Nach Baliye 9 told the Hindustan Times that it was a misunderstanding that was cleared up later and the session resumed.

The entertainment site claimed the choreographers agreed to participate in filming only after four hours with Judge Raveena Tandon and host Maniesh Paul trying their best to calm the situation. However, the program representative claimed that the misunderstanding was resolved immediately.

This was not the first time Ahmed's angry side was revealed on the Nach Baliye 9 sets. Rather, Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli faced Ahmed's resentment when they forgot their dance moves. While the judges allowed Madhurima and Vishal to perform their act again, they received no notes, placing them in the danger zone. The former couple, who was initially evicted from the show after their constant fighting, is now vying for the role of wildcard.
