More than 5 lakh are eligible for the first stage of a computer test of a railroad

NEW DELHI: More than 5 Lakh candidates have qualified for the first phase of computer tests in Indian Rail to recruit deputy pilots and technicians.

The railroads on Saturday announced the results of the CBT in the first phase, adding that there were 5,88,605 candidates for the second round of examinations.

The first stage exams were held from August 9, 2018 to September 4, 2018, with more than 36 lakh (36,47,541) candidates. The exams were held in 440 centers on the Internet.

The railway announced 64,371 posts for the replacement of deputy pilots and technicians. Candidates who appeared to CBT and have indicated to the Selected Railway Recruitment Committee (RRB) will be able to view their unique score by logging in to the link on the official RRB website.

Candidates may also have access to the examination committee to change the selection board. Limits for notified rows are also available on the website.

Qualified candidates can take part in the second phase exam of 12 to 14 December 2018.

Candidates can download their test city bulletin 10 days before the actual day of the test.

E-mails are available four days before the test date. Candidates will be notified of their e-mails by SMS, e-mail and RRB's website.
